Nut-Crusted Baked Crispy Chicken

Nut-crusted baked crispy chicken – tender baked chicken breasts coated with a crispy nut mixture. So simple but so delicious in every way! We turned a few pantry staples into an effortless recipe to switch up a traditional chicken dinner. 

Ingredients:

  • 5-6 chicken breasts (sliced thinly in half)
  • 5-6 cups mixed nuts (walnuts/ almonds/pecans)
  • 1 tbsp oregano
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 3 egg whites
  • Olive oil
  • Lemon
Descriptions:
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F
  2. Pulse all nuts together until they resemble breadcrumbs. Mix in salt, paprika, and oregano.
  3. Dip the chicken into egg whites then press into breadcrumbs mixture. 
  4. Put the crusted chicken on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 15-minutes. Flip, drizzle with olive oil and bake for another 10-minutes. Top with a squeeze of lemon and kosher salt.
